The objective of this project was to create a user interface for a specific community of our choosing. In collaboration with three other people, we created Markd whose mission is to showcase artists’ work by creating a platform for tattoo artists and clients to interact. The app is a way to highlight elite tattoo artists and connect them with potential clients. Our promise is to ease the consultation process by educating clients and provide them with the right tools to collaborate with the artists. To ensure the highest possible quality before getting a tattoo, we conducted extensive research. We ran a survey asking how people searched for tattoos and tattoo artists, what their fears were, and if the currently available information was enough to avoid marking your body with permanent regret.
