The objective of this project was to create a book to communicate the style of Chillwave music. I wanted to showcase the varied flow evoked by the music, by placing the text outside of a typical grid system using smooth flowing rags. The text seems to float on the page which emphasizes the dreamy attitude conveyed by the style of music. The imagery is also dreamy and surreal. I added geometric elements to make it more interesting and less perfect, which creates that unfinished yet structured look.
